光 子
Mori Mitsuko has always seen the world a little differently.
Growing up in suburban Kagoshima, she found companionship in wild, forgotten corners of nature. Plants, insects, animals, colors, and curious little forms became part of a world that belonged to her imagination.
Her childhood was not always gentle. Through difficult and traumatic experiences, Mitsuko learned to create a world of her own—a place filled with color, curiosity, humor, and joy. What began as resilience became a lifelong way of seeing.
She has a rare gift for discovering happiness in unexpected places. The smallest things can delight her, and somehow that delight spreads to the people around her.
Her art comes from the same place. Intuitive, playful, and deeply personal, it transforms memories, nature, emotions, and everyday encounters into a world unmistakably her own.
For Mitsuko, life and art are part of the same journey—to keep seeing, imagining, and finding wonder everywhere.
And the journey continues.
